Day 1 Bali
Your Bali vacations guide will meet you in Bali and transfer you to your luxury hotel, where your Bali tours will begin.
Day 2 Bali
Before your Bali vacation packages itinerary gets underway, you’ll get a chance to explore on your own. Spend today relaxing, exploring and sunbathing in the tropical paradise that is Bali. (B)
Day 3 Bali
Today, your Bali tours will explore the arts. Bali’s traditional dances are often the highlight of many trips to Bali. One of these dances is the Barong & Kris Dance. This dance will let you enjoy the skillful Balinese dancers, before your Bali vacation
packages continue on to visit other talented Balinese artists: a silversmith at
Celuk and a woodcarver at Mas, both in their traditional workshops. The journey proceeds to view the beautiful LakeBatur and active Mount Batur Volcano where you will have an opportunity for lunch (optional). Next destination is the Holy Spring at Tampaksiring called “The Fountain Of Youth”. (B)
Day 4 Bali
This tour is half a day and should be included in all trips to Bali. First, your Indonesian tour will take you to visit the principal temple of Mengwi Taman Ayun built in the early 17th century for the prince of Tabanan, surrounded by a large moat which signifies the world of ocean. Further on you will have an opportunity to watch the wild living Monkeys in the holy monkey forest Alas Kedaton. The forest mainly consists of Nutmeg trees, habitat for fruit bats (flying foxes) and 3 big monkey families. Save some of your pictures for the magnificent sunset at the spectacular TanahLot Temple, built on the top of a rock in the Indian Ocean just a few hundred meters offshore. Watch the rough sea crashing into the coast and have a look around to find the best spot for a romantic sunset around 6 p.m. – unforgettable! (B)
Day 5 Bali
Towering MountAgung (3142 meters) — Bali’s most sacred and highest volcano that last erupted in 1963 dominates the Eastern part of Bali. Located on one of the volcano’s slopes, the Besakih Temple Complex is the most important temple and pinnacle of the sacred to the Balinese Hindu population, also called the “MotherTemple”.
At Bukit Jambul, stopover for a refreshing view over the valley and an opportunity for lunch (optional). En route through the East of Bali, discover the traditional village Penglipuran. Experience a different social community structure and layout of village dating back to the 16th century, founded by the KehenKingdom. On your way back, visit the Hall Of Justice “Kerta Gosa” in Klungkung. Please note: It is recommended that you wear a Sarong or a pair of long trousers for Besakih. (B)
Day 6 Bali
Follow your Bali tours inland to the most scenic area of Pupuan and Antosari, the morning light is ideal for taking pictures of the unique rice terraces. Pass through the florid fields — where coffee, cacao and lots of fruits also grow — before descending to the north coast. LovinaBeach, the quiet and nice black sand beach area is your next stop. There will be an opportunity for lunch (optional). After a relaxing break, continue up a 230km route winding up the mountain until you are 1,200 meters above sea level where a striking panorama is revealed.
Passing by LakeBuyan and Tamblingan allows you a view of the habitat for many species of birds, trees and flowers unseen anywhere else on the island. Stop at Bedugul and visit LakeBratan with the floating Temple of Ulun Danu, dedicated to the goddess of water. A bit further, pop by the local flower and fruit market for a good opportunity to buy local spices and fresh tropical fruit directly from the farmers. It may seem like a long drive, but well worth it to discover the heart of Bali’s nature. (B)
Day 7 Bali
is a shopper’s paradise. Look for some handcrafted souvenirs to bring home without any hassle about transport, price and quality.
is renowned for the art of stone carving. The most famous artists of silver and gold crafts are found in Celuk village. Those keen on woodcarving should definitely have a closer look in the village Mas before reaching Ubud, the place for painting galleries featuring masterpieces in traditional and modern style. On top of that, see the famous Kecak & Fire Dance performance this evening. (B)
Day 8 - 10 Bali
Today, supplement your Indonesian tours by exploring and relaxing on your own. (B)
Day 11 Bali
After breakfast, bid farewell to your Bali vacations as you fly home. (B)
